Game Feeds
Harlow Agricultural Merchants Ltd offer a wide range of game feeds for Pheasant, Partridge & Wildfowl. All the feed are manufactured using the highest quality raw materials and priding ourselves on a quick delivery service.
Avatec is added to chick and grower feeds to help prevent coccidiosis. Feeds containing Avatec must be withdrawn at least 5 days before the birds are killed for human consumption.
The antibiotic Aurofac 250 is available across the game feed range at inclusion rates of 1.2kg, 1.6kg and 2.4kg per tonne as prescribed by your vet. (subject to minimum order size requirements). Other medications are also available
Flubenvet is licensed to treat roundworms, hairworms, caecal worms and gapeworm in pheasants and partridge. Flubenvet should replace your normal feed for 7 - 10 days, A prescriptions will be needed by your vet.
Avipro is a natural feed additive derived from yeast which improves animal health and performance. Avipro works by preventing pathogenic disease causing bacteria from attaching to the gut wall of the bird. Avipro binds to the bacteria so that they pass harmlessly through the gut. Avipro has been shown to bind to a number of disease causing bacteria including Salmonella, e coli and Clostridia.

Game Superstarter Crumbs
A high protein super fine crumb containing fish meal. This provides chicks with a source of protein which is similar to natural feed sources.
Superstarter will give day old chicks an excellent start.

Number Two Mini Pellets
A 2.2mm mini pellet with high energy to help promote growth in the young bird. High levels of the essential amino acid methionine promotes good feathering in the chicks. The small pellet size is ideal for either following on from the crumbs or micro pellets.

Number Four Poult Pellets
A high specification 3mm pellet providing the all the essential nutrients that a fast maturing bird requires. This ration is ideal for use in release pens and surrounding cover crops shortly after release.

Partridge Grower Pellets
A 2.2mm mini pellet designed to take the birds from 8 weeks of age through to release. The slightly higher level of fibre compared with No. 2 helps to acclimatise the gut to the natural food that will be encountered upon release.
